Girls Ministries
Girls Ministries is a ministry tool to help fulfill the Titus 2 principle of women mentoring young girls. Girls can begin in Girls Ministries at birth and continue through high school.
The Fivefold Purpose of Girls Ministries:
To win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance
To teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us—developing girls spiritually and mentally
To provide encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationships
To provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities
To acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord
The national Girls Ministries is committed to:
* Providing effective discipleship tools and support to districts and local churches.
* Enabling leaders to accomplish the fivefold purpose of Girls Ministries through women mentoring girls.
* Believing God for a harvest of girls—fulfilling His perfect plan for their lives.
History of Girls Ministries
Early in the 1950s, women began to see a need for a program to teach missions to young women and to prepare them for future involvement in Womens Ministries. The national Womens Ministries Department developed the Girls Ministries program in response to this need.
The first Girls Ministries club was officially chartered in January 1956. Since then, Girls Ministries clubs continue to be organized across the United States and in many foreign countries. Along the way, revisions have been made, such as age and grade level changes, additions and modifications in the achievement programs. But the ultimate purpose of Girls Ministries, winning girls to Jesus Christ and teaching them to live victoriously, has never changed.

| Homecoming September 12, 2010 Everyone welcome to come and enjoy a great day in the Lord. Sunday School begins at 9:30am and Worship Service begins at 10:45. A wonderful meal will be served after the Worship Service. God is doing great things here at NCM. |
